A Day with Professor Jo Boaler

A lot of scientific evidence suggests that the difference between those who succeed and those who don't is not the brains they were born with,
but their approach to life, the messages they receive about their potential, and the opportunities they have to learn.
-- Professor Jo Boaler

Jo Boaler, Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University and co-founder of youcubed, along with co-founder and executive director Cathy Williams will be presenting their first (and only) New Zealand workshop in Hamilton on April 24th, 2019.

Collectively they have had a big impact on inspiring and engaging teachers and students in mathematics around the world, to the extent that Jo was recently named one of the eight educators “changing the face of education” by the BBC.

An amazing opportunity - not to be missed!
